I have been on this Keto diet for over a year. Have not lost a single pound.
I looked at my MyFitness digest and discovered the following:
The Keto diet recommends 20-50g of carbs/day. It doesn’t seem to have a goal for protein, but it does for fat. I was doing EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE of what the Keto diet required. Though I was about 1200 calories average, actually less, I was nearly 3 times the number of carbs/day. Oh for crying in the mud.
Start over. I am up on exercise however this month.
I’m glad you realized your mistake. Give it another go and let us know.
I’ve heard 100% success stories, but like any diet, it must be faulty.

Not drinking enough water. I swear, trying to get all the elements into the KETO diet is maddening. Should be nothing but protein and vegies, and those sneaky carbs keep sneaking in. So while I watch those carbs, something else gets neglected, like the water lately.

Carbs are very sneaky.
Water can get annoying to drink after a while.
As long as you’re trying, there is hope.
