Water you up to?

Here’s an experiment. You know most of us don’t drink enough water. Well, I ran this experiment 3 years ago. I haven’t gotten any responses!

This is going to be very hard for me. I have to psyche myself up for this. I like Mountain dew with my pizza. I like coffee with my breakfast. I like tea with my dinner. Going cold turkey with just water? FOR A MONTH? I’m not sure I can do it. But now that I might have a bigger audience than I did 3 years ago, it might be a more successful experiment.

  1. I drink 3 cups of coffee a day, milk in my cereal, and occasionally a glass of wine or mead after Charlie goes to bed. I can’t give up coffee until Charlie goes to college, but I can make a goal of water increase. I have a 16 oz water bottle that I typically finish once a day. So my May goal will be to finish it 3 times. I’ll let you know how it goes!


    1. Take your measurements and write down how you feel before you start.
      I went from 2 cups a day to 4 cups a week. I may have a soda once a week. Haven’t had wine in months, and no beer since St. Pat’s. The weight is coming back on due to home cooking. (Dam I’m good) but I overcooked my roast yesterday. 😦
